Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental & Industrial Sales Account Manager to bring expert knowledge to scope and quote projects for our Lab Pack, Retail and Bulk Transportation Services. Responsible for growing, expanding, and maintaining revenues and EBITDA within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Promote revenue and margin growth
  • Develop close relationships with 100-200 existing Technical Services customers
  • Sell products and services from all pillars to clients with the support of CAMs, Specialists, Sales Reps, TS/IS/ FS/SK AMs etc.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts; execute Corporate and Enterprise account strategies for assigned local accounts
  • Send inputs and review sales budget for accounts under responsibility
  • Gather data about relevant industries, regions and customers
  • Develop account plans for important customers in accordance to strategic directions set out by SVP Sales
  • Monitor progress in sales and P&L goals, incl. daily awareness of activities and results
  • Present results to DSM on a weekly basis
  • Work in tandem with other salespeople to increase cross-sell
  • Keep track of customers' purchase cycle and plan accordingly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Interact with operations and customer service to deliver exceptional service to clients
  • Handle disputes and conflicts and troubleshoot with clients
  • Deliver effective contract and relationship management
  • Lead contract management and collection of invoiced revenue from customers
  • Document necessary customer information and interaction
  • Uphold and role-model corporate values
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three+ years of B2B Sales experience preferably in an environmental or industrial setting
  • Ability to develop effective account plans; prioritize highest opportunity accounts
  • Numerically literate; understands most relevant LOBs for customers
  • Industry and company knowledge, selling and negotiation, follows through on client's needs
  • Communication, display professionalism and courtesy, accountability for job responsibilities
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
