This role involves utilizing TSM to make sales presentations to prosthetists and other medical professionals to promote product use and to achieve sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with key clinical decision-makers, expand the customer base, and increase market share.</p><p></p><p><b>Note: </b> Ideal candidate would reside in Denver, St. Louis or Kansas City.</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do </b></p><p><b><u>Sales Growth & Territory Management:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for lower limb prosthetic products within the assigned territory.</p></li><li><p>Conduct scheduled sales presentations to orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) practitioners and other healthcare professionals to promote the use of prosthetic products.</p></li><li><p>Utilize TSM to develop and execute strategic solutions to drive profitable growth within the territory.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and utilize technical, competitive, and industry knowledge to overcome objections and implement effective sales strategies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Relationship Building:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Establish and maintain strong relationships with clinical decision-makers, including prosthetists and other medical professionals, to expand the customer base and increase market penetration.</p></li><li><p>Respond promptly to the needs of both internal and external customers, ensuring exceptional customer service.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Sales Strategy Development:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement competitive sales strategies that align with corporate goals.</p></li><li><p>Work with the Sales Effectiveness Manager to develop and implement TSM in their territories.</p></li><li><p>Lead efforts in "corporate deals" by leveraging the prosthetic line to maximize revenue while benefiting customers.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Collaboration & Teamwork:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Work closely with Sales Leadership, internal departments, and the Sales Effectiveness Manager to ensure seamless coordination of sales efforts and resources.</p></li><li><p>Participate in leadership forums, such as the Sales Force Council, to provide input on product development and go-to-market strategies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Reporting & Compliance:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely submission of reports, including expenses and SalesForce updates.</p></li><li><p>Ensure effective territory organization and prioritize activities to maximize sales efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Exercise good judgment in the use of company funds and manage territory expenses proactively.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Ad-hoc Projects & Leadership Representation:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Lead special projects such as go-to-market trials and represent the company at professional industry forums, national trade shows, and regional meetings.</p></li><li><p>Actively participate in leadership initiatives, providing feedback on product strategies and developments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who You Are </b></p><p><b><u>Qaulifications:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a life science or business-related field.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of direct field sales experience, preferably in medical or healthcare-related products.</p></li><li><p>Achieved 100% sales quota attainment for at least two years as a sales professional.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success in conducting field sales training and presenting at national or regional sales meetings.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Travel:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Frequent daily travel to client sites within territory, with overnight travel as need to service customers and grow territory</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Compensation:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000</p></li><li><p>On Target Earnings: $118,000 - $133,000</p></li><li><p>Uncapped commission structure & high-income potential</p></li></ul><p>Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
