Corporate Compliance Officer (Northeastern Division)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Eastern Time ZoneLocation: Remote, United States. Applicants will need to travel in the Northeastern Division to help locally support division as needed (Main Location in Raritan, New Jersey)Responsibilities: Strategic Guidance and Day-to-Day Support<ul><li>Build collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership, laboratory operations, phlebotomy, and sales/commercial personnel at all levels.</li><li>Provide proactive compliance guidance and support on a broad range of clinical laboratory arrangements with hospitals/health systems, physicians, medical clinics, and other clients.</li><li>Lead compliance-related due diligence and integration activities for health system and regional laboratory acquisitions within the division.</li><li>Engage with other departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle Management, Real Estate, Law/Contracts, Science and Technology, and Quality to advance cross-functional initiatives and projects in support of Labcorp Diagnostics compliance and business objectives.</li><li>Engage with senior Corporate Compliance leaders to ensure consistent communication, reporting, and alignment on divisional compliance activities and initiatives.</li></ul>Internal Investigations <ul><li>Conduct thorough internal investigations into potential compliance program violations and other allegations of misconduct, including those arising from governmental inquiries, internal and third-party audits, and/or Compliance Action Line reports</li><li>Collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to appropriately remediate compliance issues and implement correction action plans</li><li>Prepare summaries, maintain investigation records, and support reporting to senior compliance leadership.</li></ul>Compliance Training and Communication<ul><li>Implement compliance training programs and educational opportunities for new and existing employees to ensure a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and Labcorp policies and procedures.</li><li>Monitor state and federal healthcare laws and regulations that apply to Labcorp’s operations within the division.</li><li>Engage with divisional teams on Corporate Compliance Department enterprise-wide initiatives to promote a culture of compliance and ethics.</li></ul>Auditing and Monitoring Support<ul><li>Support compliance audit activities within the division to identify gaps and areas for improvement.</li><li>Implement ongoing monitoring programs focused on key compliance risk areas, including provider financial relationships and billing arrangements.</li><li>Work with divisional leaders to strengthen processes based on audit and monitoring outcomes.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years or more experience in Compliance or Associate’s degree with 7+ years or more experience in Compliance or High School Diploma or GED with 9+ years or more experience in Compliance </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) </li><li>3+ years experience understanding the monitoring of programs focused on key compliance risk areas, including provider financial relationships and billing arrangements.</li><li>3+ years experience understanding compliance guidance and support on a broad range of clinical laboratory arrangements with hospitals/health systems, physicians, medical clinics, and other clients.</li><li>3+ years leading compliance-related due diligence and integration activities for health system and regional laboratory acquisitions within the division.</li><li>3+ years collaborating with Legal, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to appropriately remediate compliance issues and implement correction action plans</li></ul>Additional Job Standards <ul><li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to express complex information to personnel at all levels in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>Strong business acumen and experience working with healthcare provider organizations, preferably clinical laboratories or diagnostics companies.</li><li>Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and standards relevant to clinical laboratory compliance programs, including healthcare fraud and abuse (e.g., Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute), HIPAA/data privacy, Medicare/Medicaid coding and billing requirements, and CLIA/CAP requirements.</li><li>Capacity to work independently and simultaneously handle a variety of complex matters with minimal supervision.</li><li>Experience taking ownership of issues and providing practical advice</li><li>Ability to prioritize and undertake mission critical tasks in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Remote with the need for travel within the Northeastern Division as needed. </li></ul>Application Window Closes: 06/10/2026 Pay range: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
