Our team values accuracy, collaboration, and long-term client relationships, and we offer hands-on experience across a broad range of tax matters. Position Summary The Tax Associate will support the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns while assisting with tax research, client communications, and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an early-career tax professional seeking exposure to a wide variety of clients and opportunities for growth within a boutique firm environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and nonprofits, as applicable Assist with tax planning projects and compliance support Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for senior team members Organize and maintain client tax documentation and workpapers Communicate with clients to request information and clarify tax-related questions Assist with extensions, estimated tax payments, and filing requirements Support year-end and busy season workflows Ensure compliance with firm procedures, deadlines, and professional standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 0–3 years of public accounting or tax-related experience Working knowledge of federal and state tax concepts Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA licensure EA eligibility or progress toward EA licensure Experience in a public accounting or boutique tax firm environment Familiarity with individual and small business tax returns What We Offer Exposure to a broad client base and hands-on tax experience Collaborative and supportive team environment Professional development and mentorship Competitive compensation and benefits 401k 4% match PTO and paid holidays Stipend for medical, dental,, vision 10% bonus Interested in hearing more?
