We are looking for a strategic, results-driven eCommerce Content Manager to lead the development and execution of content strategies across multiple clients and a variety of e-commerce marketplaces. In this role, you will serve as a key client partner, providing expertise on marketplace best practices and leading a team to deliver high-impact content and creative solutions. You will manage day-to-day content operations, mentor junior team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content aligns with broader advertising and business objectives. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of Amazon content, creative strategies, and performance data, as well as a passion for driving innovation and efficiency in content creation. What You’ll Do • Lead the development and execution of content and creative strategies across multiple clients, including tier 1 clients and ad hoc audits, with minimal leadership oversight • Serve as a true client partner and authority on Amazon best practices. Able to clearly and concisely explain content and creative strategies and best practices both externally and internally • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance, trainings, and support to help them grow and develop their skills • Manage the day-to-day activities of junior content team members, including assigning projects, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality standards are met • Collaborate with designers to deliver award winning creative strategies for clients and internal projects • Collaborate with the media team and account managers to ensure that all content is aligned with clients' overall advertising and business objectives • Partner with account managers to create content and SEO strategies that support client’s broader goals • Develop and implement creative strategies to support client goals and drive growth • Strong understanding of Amazon creative and content data and analytics. Able to analyze performance data and tests to continuously optimize content and creative • Contribute to content thought leadership through agency content, client POV pieces, resources, and case studies • Serve as an internal subject matter expert and create and own SOPs / process creation, resources and run team trainings • Begin to understand Amazon content and creation commercials • Partner with global counterparts to ensure global consistency and sharing across regions What We’re Looking For • 4+ years of experience in content marketing, e-commerce content strategy, or digital advertising, with a focus on Amazon or other marketplace content • Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring team members while overseeing multiple content projects • Deep expertise in Amazon content creation, including optimization strategies for titles, bullet points, A+ content, storefronts, and image stacks • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret content performance data and make data-driven recommendations for optimization • Project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading multiple content initiatives and meeting deadlines • Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategy, present recommendations, and manage client expectations • Experience developing SOPs, training materials, and process improvements to drive efficiency in content workflows • Collaboration experience across cross-functional teams, including media, account management, and design • Working knowledge of paid media platforms, including Facebook, Google, TikTok, and YouTube, and their role in content strategy • High proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) • A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for driving innovation and delivering measurable results Why Join Podean?
