This position will focus on developing and maintaining the Fabric tool suite — an integrated ecosystem of web-based developer productivity tools built for the Boeing Software Factory.</p><p></p><p>The Software Engineer will be responsible for full-stack product development, DevOps infrastructure, and AI-assisted development tooling across a portfolio of internal web applications.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Position Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS</p></li><li><p>Build and operate GitLab CI/CD pipelines including multi-project build orchestration, container image builds (Kaniko), and Helm-based deployments to EKS (Kubernetes)</p></li><li><p>Develop AI agent tooling — steering files, skills libraries, prompt engineering, and integrations with AI coding assistants</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain a shared design system (CSS tokens, components, layout primitives) consumed across all products</p></li><li><p>Develop data visualization dashboards pulling live data from GitLab APIs (epics, issues, metrics) into SQL backed web apps to support project health metrics</p></li><li><p>Implement developer experience tools including web analytics and OKR tracking</p></li><li><p>Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS EKS with Helm charts, GitLab Agents, and feature-branch environments</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):</span></b></p><ul><li><p> Bachelors Degree</p></li><li><p>To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
