This strong leader will support various marketing functions and is a highly self-directed individual. As a senior marketing coordinator, you will work independently and in groups to lead pursuits, proposals, SOQs, and interview preparations, as well as collaborate on complex sales and marketing projects. You will work closely with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership locally and nationally.

Senior Marketing Coordinator

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, and submission of proposals, qualifications packages, and RFP/RFQ responses, managing multiple concurrent deadlines and priorities.
    • Analyze solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria to ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and strategically positioned.
    • Support pursuit strategy activities, including go/no‑go assessments, content planning, and opportunity tracking.
    • Collaborate with technical teams, leadership, and consultants to develop persuasive written content, scopes of work, and fee information.
    • Oversee proposal production, including layout, editing, and preparation for digital and/or print delivery to ensure timely submission.
    • Create and coordinate proposal graphics—including charts, infographics, layouts, and visual brand elements—to communicate technical concepts clearly and enhance visual impact.
    • Prepare short‑list interview materials, including presentation decks and visual aids, and assist with rehearsal sessions and interview coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate marketing activities such as advertising, direct mailing, event planning, award submissions, and conferences.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve proposal resources such as boilerplate materials, resumes, project descriptions, templates, and graphic standards.
  • Support marketing and sales strategy development and work with regional teams to identify marketplace needs.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings/debriefs as necessary.
  • Maintain systems and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow safe work practices according to standards and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Skills / Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or English, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in creating and coordinating proposals.
  • Strong writing, editing, formatting skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in teams under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of architecture and engineering services is a plus but not required.

Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits

$70,000 - $100,000/year*

  • Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
