The position is ideal for someone with a solid labor experience who is comfortable working with tools and equipment, performing physically demanding tasks, and traveling between job sites—including occasional travel to nearby states for projects.</p><hr /><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Assist with the construction of block walls, retaining walls, welded form walls, reinforced soil slopes, boulder walls, and soil anchoring systems</li><li>Perform general construction labor tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup</li><li>Support excavation activities, including working around and with excavation equipment as needed</li><li>Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks</li><li>Help with basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment used on the job site</li><li>Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure to ensure accurate layout and installation</li><li>Work on outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity</li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and according to project specifications</li><li>Travel site-to-site and to project locations in neighboring states when required, following company guidelines for per diem and lodging</li></ul><hr /><h2><strong>Essential Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>At least 1 year of construction experience</li><li>Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction labor</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks daily</li><li>Ability to use hand tools safely and correctly</li><li>Ability to use power tools safely and correctly</li><li>Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately</li><li>Familiarity with construction activities such as concrete work, brick laying, and site development</li><li>Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Willingness to travel between job sites and for out-of-state projects when needed</li></ul><hr /><h2><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Experience with block walls, retaining walls, and other wall systems</li><li>Experience in landscaping and hardscaping projects</li><li>Experience operating or working around heavy equipment such as excavators</li><li>Experience with excavation work and soil-related construction</li><li>Experience with basic equipment maintenance is a strong plus</li><li>Comfort working 50-hour weeks on a consistent basis</li></ul><hr /><h2><strong>Why Work Here?</strong></h2><p>You will join a team that works on a diverse range of outdoor construction and hardscape projects, offering opportunities to develop hands-on skills and gain experience with multiple wall and excavation systems.
