Outside Operations Job Description

Lake Waramaug Country Club is seeking motivated and service-oriented individuals to join our Outside Operations team. Outside Operations staff support all aspects of the golf operation and work closely with the Golf Professional staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. All duties are performed with a strong commitment to outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.

· Golf Course Maintenance Team

Qualifications and Requirements

· Valid state-issued driver’s license

· Meets all federal and state employment eligibility requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Flexibility in available hours 20-30hrs a week during season

· Ability to lift and/or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with opening and closing procedures as directed by management

· Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver the highest level of member and guest service

· Greet all members and guests professionally, addressing them by name whenever possible

· Manage the golf car fleet, including cleaning, charging, and basic maintenance

· Store golf bags properly in designated bag room locations

· Load and stage golf bags for daily play and tournaments

· Organize and stage golf cars in an efficient and orderly manner

· Retrieve golf bags from the bag drop and stage clubs appropriately

· Assist with on-course support as needed

· Maintain and manage practice facilities, including driving range and short game areas

· Welcome members and guests after their round and assist with cleaning clubs

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

· Conduct oneself in a professional manner and consistently represent Lake Waramaug Country Club positively
