This role is ideal for a former technical individual contributor who now leads through people management, delivery execution, and strong team culture. You will be responsible for supporting team performance, improving delivery practices, maintaining team morale, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality outcomes aligned with product and business priorities.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Lead one or two engineering teams made up of individual contributors (e.g., software developers, QA specialists, and other technical roles)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Monitor and optimize team productivity and code quality in an AI-augmented development environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own team delivery outcomes, including processes, communication, and continuous improvement</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Plan and execute objectives aligned to product line goals and broader organizational priorities</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and track projects and initiatives that contribute to product, technology, and departmental outcomes</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Coordinate team execution with minimal supervision, ensuring accountability and progress toward commitments</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify and implement improvements to workflows and processes, including recommending improvements outside the team when needed</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track team capacity, workload, and planning to ensure sustainable delivery and clear prioritization</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and collaborate with relevant peers</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive recruiting efforts to ensure the team is staffed with the skills and talent needed for success</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Evaluate and communicate team member performance, providing coaching and development support</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Define and maintain style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience managing software development teams that actively use AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance support, and team development</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to coordinate and execute projects and initiatives with minimal oversight</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong organizational and communication skills, including cross-team collaboration</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience managing a team delivering continuously and incrementally</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Agile methodologies</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience in improving delivery processes and establishing effective team operating rhythms</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Equivalent practical experience may be considered in place of a formal degree</p></li></ul><p
