HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE Unified Endpoint Architecture & Orchestration: Engineer and sustain a robust VMware Workspace ONE (UEM) ecosystem, driving the full lifecycle management, secure enrollment, and performance optimization for a high-concurrency fleet of Windows, macOS, and mobile (BYOD/Corporate) endpoints. Enterprise-Scale Security Operations: Architect and execute automated patching, software distribution, and real-time vulnerability remediation using the Tanium platform to ensure continuous compliance and rapid incident response across the global estate. Advanced OS Engineering & Tier 3 Escalation: Serve as the final escalation point for complex kernel-level troubleshooting, utilizing PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting to develop custom automation for OS imaging, security baselines, and configuration profiles. Zero-Trust Mobility & Access Design: Lead the strategic implementation of modern mobility solutions and conditional access frameworks, ensuring friction-free user experiences while maintaining rigid Zero-Trust security postures across all remote and on-site assets. Infrastructure Roadmap & Governance: Define and document technical standards for endpoint provisioning and decommissioning, translating emerging industry trends into scalable architectural roadmaps that reduce operational overhead and technical debt. WHAT MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS YOU’LL NEED Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred. WHAT ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES WE'RE SEEKING Tanium Certified Engineer (TCE): Active certification or demonstrable mastery of Tanium modules such as Deploy, Patch, and Reveal within a large-scale enterprise environment. Cloud-Native Integration: Experience integrating UEM platforms with cloud identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID) to facilitate seamless SAML/OIDC authentication workflows. VDI & Virtualization Synergy: Hands-on experience managing persistent and non-persistent virtual desktops (VMware Horizon or Citrix) to provide a unified management experience across physical and virtual layers.
