If so, we cannot wait to meet you. About The Position T-SQL performance tuning to resolve day to daycritical production issues using native SQL Server and third-party tools. Performs configuration, scripting, analysis, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database management systems. Ensures service level agreements are met for internal and external clients. Off-hour production support (including weekends) and 24/7 on call rotation necessary. Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards. Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with both technical and business teams. Perform database administration tasks, such as backups, point-in-time restores, maintenance plans based on mission critical applications the organization utilizes. Knowledgeable at the data layer for either operational and or project level work. Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ensure minimum necessary and best practices are being followed from a security perspective. Perform other related duties as necessary. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or associate degree and three years of database administration preferred. If no degree, a minimum of five years of experience in database administration. Other technical expertise will also be considered for the right candidate. Knowledge of Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data modelapplication is a huge plus. Ability to create T-SQL scripts required. Highly organized and responsible. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Analytical mindset and proven problem-solving skills. Self-starter who can multi-task. Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with creating and maintaining complex SQL Databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Familiar with implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting SQL replication and high availability architectures. Knowledge of programming languages a plus. Health Care experience is a plus. Willingness to learn new platforms i.e., Job Schedulers, Open-Source Databases, code deployment software's. Azure experience is a plus but not required. About Us You are uncommon. We are, too.
