The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong><em>This posting will be used to award all Sanitation Team Member positions in the NDC for the next 30 days. This position requires a two-year commitment. If you are changing departments, you must successfully complete a post-offer work screen within seven (7) calendar days of job offer (case-by-case scheduling complications</em></strong> <strong><em>notwithstanding). The work screen consists of tests including lifting, turning, twisting, stretching, visual recognition, etc.<br><br></em></strong>This position will pay $22 an hour.<br><br>Internal application deadline: May 2nd, 2026. Any applications received after 11:59 PM on May 2nd, 2026, will not be reviewed for the opportunity.<br><br><strong>JOB ACTIVITIES/DUTIES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Under general supervision safely operate forklift vehicles and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Keep work area clean and orderly following the Master Cleaning Schedules, perform sanitation audits and develop action plans to correct problem areas.</li><li>Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on all related equipment.</li><li>Plan ahead to maximize efficiency of team and equipment while supporting production schedules.</li><li>Communicate pertinent information with the Operations Supervisor, the other shift team members, and the other support groups up to date on important information, processes, issues and concerns</li><li>Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives.</li><li>Participate in special projects/assignments, training, and other activities of the team as required.</li><li>Substitute for any Team Member during breaks/absence/vacation.</li><li>Will be responsible for designing and building sanitation containment structures for plant project work and maintenance.
