Job Title: Medical VA (Virtual Nurse US RN Needed)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly organized Medical Virtual Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to healthcare professionals in a remote setting. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your familiarity with EMR systems to manage patient records efficiently and accurately.
  • Update and maintain EMR systems with new patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Explain our services to new patients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how our systems work and what to expect.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with medical billing teams to ensure accurate coding and billing information.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive medical information.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (US RN/NCLEX) California Licensed.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in using EMR systems, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professional relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Familiarity with medical billing and coding processes is a plus.
