Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and making salads.
  • Serve meals following specific dietary needs and portion guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, utensils, and dining spaces.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in food service or a kitchen setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Capability to follow directions and collaborate within a team.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate well with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
  • Adherence to vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle routine, repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working with food and cleaning supplies.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per State/County laws.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
