<p>About the Job<br /> Job Overview<br /> Are you a natural connector with a passion for health and biohacking?<br /> A leading international health and wellness brand is looking for a Community Manager to build and scale a thriving online tribe around their global events.</p> <p>You will lead the launch and management of a dedicated community platform, engaging members year-round to drive connection, loyalty, and measurable revenue outcomes.</p> <p>As the face of the brand (UK &amp; US), you’ll shape the community experience, empower VIP members, and align engagement strategies with ticket sales, retreats, and high-end offers.<br /> This is a high-impact role for a purpose-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced, mission-led environments.</p> <p>Salary<br /> R35,000 – R40,000 per month</p> <p>Key Responsibilities<br /> Launch and manage the new community platform.<br /> Design and implement a high-converting onboarding experience for new members.<br /> Grow the community to 2,000+ engaged members in the first 90 days using existing databases and partner networks.<br /> Develop and lead an ongoing engagement strategy – including weekly prompts, Q&amp;As, polls, and spotlight content.<br /> Create and manage a VIP sub-community and support conversions to retreats.<br /> Collaborate with marketing and events teams to align community activity with summit cycles and sales targets.<br /> Track and optimise community KPIs: active users, retention rates, contributions, and ticket sale influence.<br /> Facilitate member introductions and foster a genuine sense of belonging and value.<br /> Maintain weekly reporting and contribute to a documented Community Playbook.<br /> Represent the brand with authenticity and energy – becoming a recognised and trusted connector within the wellness space.</p> <p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<br /> Must Have:<br /> 3+ years’ experience building and managing online communities (preferably in the health, wellness, or fitness industry).<br /> High emotional intelligence and a natural ability to connect people.<br /> Strong understanding of community growth, retention, and engagement metrics.<br /> Experience with platforms such as Circle, Mighty Networks, or Geneva.<br /> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br /> Proven ability to work independently, meet targets, and drive measurable outcomes.<br /> Familiarity or personal interest in biohacking.<br /> Laptop, reliable internet, and a home-office setup suitable for remote work.<br /> Experience with VIP segmentation and high-ticket upsell funnels.<br /> Understanding of event marketing cycles and community-to-sales pipelines.<br /> Existing network or knowledge of health &amp; wellness influencers.</p>
