Job Description​

BJC / Saint Luke’s Health System are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Clinician to join our premier electrophysiology team. This full-time, day-shift position provides expert device management and patient care across four metro locations and occasional outreach clinics. Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 10 hour days, 7am-5:30pm, no holidays, occasional remote work Key Responsibilities
  • Device Management: Perform evaluations and interrogations of all implantable devices in clinic, OR, ED, and Heart Failure settings.
  • Clinical Diagnostics: Review and interpret EKG rhythms, LifeVest tracings, Holter monitors, event recorders, and MCOT data.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Manage post-procedure monitoring, coordinate hospital admissions, and lead patient education on cardiac devices.
  • Transition Management: Partner with physicians and APPs to develop discharge plans, ensuring seamless follow-up for device checks, protime visits, and diagnostic testing.
  • Clinical Resource: Serve as a subject matter expert for non-EP physicians and nursing staff regarding arrhythmia identification and device troubleshooting.
Qualifications
  • Active Nursing License (RN).
  • Expertise in EKG/arrhythmia interpretation and cardiac device interrogation.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
