Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.       Position Summary The Behavioral Health Specialist collaborates closely with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), behavioral health providers, and other state agencies to address barriers to crisis and other behavioral health care raised by members, family members, and adoptive parents. This position has high-level visibility with internal departments, leadership, and external agencies.   The Behavioral Health Specialist is a dynamic individual who excels in public speaking, delivering presentations, and engaging with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and thrive in environments where they can lead discussions, as well as participate in meetings with confidence and professionalism.   This is a telework role, that will require the ability to travel up to 20% throughout the year. This includes a requirement of attending at least 2 community events per year, as well as at least 8 virtual meetings in the evenings.   Work schedule: Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm, Arizona Time Zone.   Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in public speaking.
  • 1+ year of case/care management in an integrated model.
  • 1+ year of experience with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
  • Must reside in Phoenix, Arizona, or within a commutable distance.
  • Ability to work beyond core hours (including some weekends & evenings) as needed.
  • Ability to travel within Arizona up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in managed care.
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health and/or social services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess one the following licenses, valid in the state of Arizona: (Behavioral Health Professional as described in Health Services Rule A.A.C. R9‑10‑101)
    • RN (Registered Nurse).
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW).
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPCC).
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or LAMFT).
    • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
    • Psychiatrist (MD or DO).
    • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
    • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC or CADC).
    • Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LACT or LAAC).
    • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA or BCBA).
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or non-licensed master level clinician
    Anticipated Weekly Hours 40    Time Type Full time    Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:   $46,988.00 - $102,000.00  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
