Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with attending physicians to provide clinical direction and leadership.
  • Conduct comprehensive sleep consultations and follow-up visits via telemedicine and in person.
  • Recommend and authorize prescriptions for appropriate sleep therapy. Must be open to all treatment options.
  • Manage therapy compliance and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with physicians to improve clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including chart and peer reviews.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing or completion of a Physician Assistant program.
  • Registered and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Texas (willingness to obtain licenses in other states as needed).
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to professional development through teaching, research, or specialty certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sleep medicine or a strong interest in specializing in this field.
  • Ability to assess and treat patients of all ages, understanding lifespan development and sleep-related health concerns.
