Job Description

Summary of the Role:

As a Web Implementation Specialist (Marketing Technology and Technical GEO/SEO), you will be responsible for supporting the management and optimization of our digital marketing technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and technical SEO. In this role, you will work closely with marketing, web operations, and analytics teams to ensure that our websites and digital platforms are technically optimized for search engines, AI-driven search experiences, and overall performance. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and hands-on experience with website performance optimization and search engine best practices. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our web platforms are optimized for discoverability, scalability, and modern search ecosystems, including AI-generated search experiences.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

I. Marketing Technology and Platform Support

  • Support the management and optimization of the marketing technology stack, with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related digital platforms.
  • Assist in implementing technical enhancements that improve website performance, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure proper integration between CMS, analytics platforms, CDP, and other marketing tools.

II. Generative Engine Optimization

  • Support initiatives to optimize content and site architecture for AI-powered search experiences and generative search engines.
  • Assist in implementing structured content and technical signals that improve AI discoverability and answer engine visibility.
  • Work with content and SEO teams to ensure pages are structured to support AI search summaries, featured snippets, and knowledge extraction.

III. Technical SEO Implementation

  • Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices across web properties.
  • Conduct audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, structured data, site speed, mobile performance, and internal linking.
  • Monitor site health using tools such as Google Search Console, crawling tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Implement SEO improvements including metadata optimization, schema markup, canonicalization, redirects, and sitemap management.

IV. Website Optimization and Performance

  • Identify and implement improvements that enhance site performance, Core Web Vitals, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in HTML structure, page rendering, and JavaScript usage.
  • Support AEM component optimization and ensure templates follow SEO and accessibility standards.

V. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, web operations, analytics, and development teams to ensure consistent implementation of SEO and Martech best practices.
  • Provide technical recommendations that support campaign performance, content discoverability, and digital experience improvements.
  • Document processes and technical guidelines to support ongoing platform governance.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management, Information Technology, Information Management System, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in technical SEO, web development, or marketing technology roles.
  • Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or optimizing content for AI-driven search experiences is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, crawling tools and analytics platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in large-scale or global website environments.

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including crawling and indexing, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, page performance optimization, and XML sitemaps/robots directives.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
  • Experience implementing structured data and schema markup.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze technical issues impacting search performance.
  • Experience working with enterprise marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with CDP platforms and marketing data flows.
