Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand vision and content goals across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities


  • Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality videos


  • Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, and background music


  • Create short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns


  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling standards


  • Retouch and enhance video quality (color correction, audio sync, etc.)


  • Collaborate with content creators, educators, and the marketing team


  • Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling approaches


  • Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the timely delivery of projects


  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently




Requirements


  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing or similar role


  • Basic understanding of video composition, storytelling, color, and typography


  • Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign


  • Ability to work with different media formats and editing styles


  • Strong creative thinking and attention to detail


  • Good communication and collaboration skills


  • Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly


  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work



Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field


  • Experience in social media content creation (Reels, Shorts, Ads)


  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations
