At Ravenwake Games, our mission is to craft immersive worlds that bring players together, build vibrant communities, and deliver unforgettable gameplay at every turn.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a skilled and motivated web developer to help on a variety of fun and interesting projects.</p> <ul> <li>Experience building extensively designed web pages in HTML/CSS/JS to match mockups provided by artist and functional requirements of internal customers</li> <li>Understanding of responsive design: able to adapt page layout to all sizes down to mobile based only on desktop design</li> <li>Familiarity with Photoshop, web image formats, and extracting images from a PSD mockup for use on web sites</li> <li>Attention to detail when styling pages to match mockups</li> <li>Experience using REST APIs from JavaScript to fetch, process, present, and submit data</li> <li>Ability to debug web pages using the Chrome or Firefox JS debugger</li> <li>Familiarity with JSON and ability to edit by hand</li> <li>Follow standards of existing JS code, enforced with ESLint</li> <li>Usage of content management systems and integrating CMS content into pages</li> <li>Managing changes with version control software, selectively merging and publishing changes to different environments</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience with the following a plus:</strong></p> <ul> <li>LESS or SASS CSS preprocessors</li> <li>jQuery and Bootstrap</li> <li>Apache Velocity or similar templating language</li> <li>Apache Tomcat</li> <li>Apache Maven</li> <li>Perforce</li> <li>TypeScript and Angular 2+</li> <li>Docker</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Be Aware of Fraudulent Recruiting Activities</strong></p> <p><strong>Ravenwake Games</strong> will never ask applicants for social insurance numbers, date of birth, bank account information or other sensitive information in job applications.
