This role serves as a trusted advisor supporting the business throughout the sales cycle by connecting customer outcomes to platform capabilities, rapidly iterating on solutions,<span> </span></span><span>owning the technical relationship and</span><span><span> </span>guiding customers through technical validation and value based demonstrations.</span></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><ul><li><p>Execute<span> </span><span>enterprise<span> </span></span>pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, lead product demonstrations, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs</p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate expertise across all of Workiva’s domain areas - Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting - developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with sales in territory planning</span> in support of Workiva strategies and objectives</p></li><li><p>Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present partner specific business cases</p></li><li><p>Ensure customer success by working with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term success</p></li><li><p>Assist in developing new use-cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution's impact and value proposition</p></li><li><p>May begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peers</p></li><li><p>Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Need</b></p><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years and a PhD</p></li><li><p>Financial Reporting, GRC, or Sustainability Reporting knowledge is valuable in this role. Candidates should either bring existing expertise or demonstrate strong aptitude and commitment to rapidly developing deep domain expertise</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement</p></li><li><p>Experience building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignment</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates proactive collaboration and feedback to product management teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements, may require guidance as needed</p></li><li><p>Ability to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems with strong communication and presentation skills</p></li><li><p>Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience with high level technical aspects of connectivity and integration (API)</p></li><li><p>Capability to gather business needs and present a value based, compelling software demonstration is preferred</p></li></ul><p><br><b>Travel Requirements & Working Conditions</b></p><ul><li><p>Up to 30% Travel</p></li><li><p>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office</p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>How You’ll Be Rewarded</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>✅ On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 156,000.00 - 253,000.00 USD Annual<p>✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance</p><p>✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire</p><p>✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package</p><p></p><p>The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
