<p>VirtualResource (VR) is a boutique consultancy supporting companies to maintain and optimise their HR system - Workday - by providing remote based resources to supplement their existing maintenance organisation team. As a VR project manager you will join an exiting portfolio of projects across multiple large global organisations.</p><p><strong><br>What is the role?</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Workday Technical Services Lead</strong> to define, build, and scale our technical capability within the Workday practice. This is a strategic leadership role focused on <strong>AI-driven innovation, platform extensibility, and next-generation Workday technologies</strong>.</p><p>You will lead the technical vision across integrations, security, data, and Workday AI, ensuring delivery excellence while shaping future-ready solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, you will drive innovation, build high-performing teams, and position the practice at the forefront of Workday and AI advancements.</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><ul><li><p>Define and execute the Workday technical strategy, driving <strong>AI-enabled innovation, automation, and emerging technologies</strong></p></li><li><p>Establish and evolve the roadmap across <strong>Workday AI, Extend, Prism Analytics, and integrations</strong></p></li><li><p>Provide architectural oversight for implementations and AMS, ensuring <strong>best practice, security, and high-quality delivery</strong></p></li><li><p>Champion <strong>standardisation, automation, and scalable frameworks/accelerators</strong></p></li><li><p>Advise clients on adopting <strong>Workday AI, analytics, and advanced platform capabilities</strong></p></li><li><p>Drive innovation through <strong>Extend, AI-enhanced solutions, and enterprise integrations</strong></p></li><li><p>Build, mentor, and grow a <strong>high-performing technical team and capability</strong></p></li><li><p>Act as a <strong>trusted advisor</strong> to clients, supporting architecture discussions, pre-sales, and solution design</p></li><li><p>Translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for senior stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Strengthen the Workday partnership and stay ahead of <strong>platform innovations and industry trends</strong></p></li></ul><p><br><strong><u>Only experienced Workday consultants to apply please.</u></strong></p><p style="text-align: start;">As a member of the VR team, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.</p><br><br><p><strong>What skills are we looking for?</strong></p><p>Our roles are remotely based, meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.</p><p>To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms and proactively drive process improvements.
