•    Open to scheduling based on provider availability
•    Full-time, or part-time 
•    No call required
•    Overnight shifts optional (available upon request)

Practice Setting: 100% Remote

Case Mix: All modalities or subspecialty, cover Inpatients, Outpatients, Urgent Care and ED 

Modality Mix: CT, MRI, US, NM, Xray

Licensing/Certification Requirements: OH, PA, NV, NM, CA

Job Responsibilities: The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.

1. Interprets and analyzes medical images to diagnose illnesses and injuries. Interprets imaging exams, including relevant comparisons and correlations with clinical information.

2. Consults with referring physicians to determine the appropriate imaging study for patients. Reviews patient information and works with colleagues and other relevant professionals, applying the information to a proper diagnosis.

3. Prepares documentation, files, and special reports as instructed. Collaborate with Hospital departments to provide and secure comprehensive information and data.

4. Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Participate in various aspects of quality assurance such as peer review, protocol review, appropriateness criteria and performance improvement.

5. Maintains professional affiliations, licenses, certifications, etc., as required. Stays current on developments in the field of medicine. Maintains appropriate managed care credentialing.

6. Makes decisions in a logical and professional manner.

7. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment for patients according to professional standards.

8. Ensures all assessments, diagnoses, treatments, clinical notes, relevant contacts, and summaries are appropriate and in accordance with department and professional standards.

9. Responds to problems identified by staff, patients, medical staff, and others. Recommends or directs solutions. Coordinates with the appropriate Medical Director and/or other departments as needed to implement solutions.

10. Provides input for the development of the program to ensure that the financial, marketing, and other functions are handled properly.

11. Provides quality health care services in accordance with Regional Imaging's policies in relation to mutual support, caring and respect.

12. Respects the rights/privacy of others; holds medical center, patient and employee data/information in strict confidence.

13. Attends administrative and other meetings as required.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and three (3) years of clinical practice experience as a radiologist.

• Weekends or Nights, various shifts between 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM EST
• Open to scheduling based on provider availability
