Job Purpose

To accurately and efficiently stock warehouse shelves.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To accurately, consistently and safely follow directions
  • Must be able to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Reach Truck, Pallet Jacks) to include daily maintenance.
  • Accurately identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations, using various pieces of warehouse equipment, upon receipt from the supplier
  • Returning undelivered product to their proper inventory locations
  • Moving and stacking product for the purpose of conducting physical inventory
  • Perform cleaning duties as may be directed by the warehouse supervisor
  • Observes safe product handling techniques.
  • Cooperates with supervisors and peers alike
  • Is punctual and consistently available for work
  • Various other duties, as assigned

Working conditions

Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment. Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; frequent interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Forklift experience required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least one year related experience.
