Tasks: Provide clients with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient assistance. Prescribe items available for purchase to clients and suggest exchange-ups as well as associate items. Perform obligations as assigned by Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data. Report prescription mistakes to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to Organization policies and procedures corresponding to pharmacy errors. Preparation and Self-Improvement: Acquire and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state-required certification/registration. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Supervisor or assigned by corporate and secure continuing education credits. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications At least six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with Walgreens. Good numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions. Good computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification.
