About Rippling

Rippling is the all-in-one platform that lets companies run HR, IT, Spend, and Finance through a single employee graph. We started as an HCM platform. Over the last two years, we have become a configurable platform for business applications of every shape: custom apps built on the employee graph, data connectors to third-party systems, functions that let customers write code inside Rippling, and Rippling AI that automates the work that used to fall through the cracks between systems.

Technical buyers don't know this yet. This role exists to tell them

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the Role

Rippling Platform can do more in 2026 than any of us would have predicted in 2025. Custom data connectors. Functions: real code, running inside the platform. Custom App surfaces with their own data modeling layer, execution workflow logic, and a front-end we call Canvas. The full Rippling object graph (HR, IT, spend, payroll, time) sitting underneath all of it. Rippling AI threaded throughout. Capabilities ship weekly. The gap between what we can do and what people know we can do is widening. The Visionary Demo Builder closes it.

This is a senior IC role for someone who can do two rare things at the same time. One: dream up genuinely novel use cases (for industries, for keynotes, for strategic deals, for the next internal all-hands) that show what's now possible on Rippling. Two: build those use cases themselves, deep inside Platform.

You walk in Monday with a use case nobody else thought of. You walk out Friday with a demo of it. By next month it's the demo our keynote speakers, our AEs, and our internal all-hands moments are running on.

What You'll Do

  • Generate the use cases. Bring your own, for industries (retail, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and beyond), for specific strategic deals, for keynotes and conferences, and for the moments when Rippling needs to show the world (or itself) what's now possible.
  • Build the demos yourself, deep inside Rippling Platform. Custom data connectors. Functions. Custom Apps with custom data models, workflow logic, and Canvas UIs. Rippling AI. The object graph across HR, IT, & Spend.
  • Make demos for the moments that move the company. Keynote stages and external conferences. Strategic-deal war rooms. Internal all-hands moments that change what sellers believe is possible. Industry-specific pitches across retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond.
  • Stay ahead of the platform. Capabilities ship weekly. You're the person who tracks every new feature, builds something with it, and decides how it changes the demo story.
  • Create the content around the demo. Walkthroughs, narratives, videos: the artifacts that let the rest of the company carry your work forward without you in the room.
  • Tell the story. Present to executive buyers, conference audiences, and all-hands rooms. Translate deep technical capability into business outcomes a CEO, a CFO, and a CIO all care about.
  • Inspire the company. Help GTM, Product, and Marketing catch up to what their own platform can now do. Show them with working demos.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of pre-sales / solutions consulting experience, ideally including time as a Platform SC, Technical Architect, or low-code platform specialist (Salesforce Platform, ServiceNow, Workday Extend, or similar).
  • You've shipped real custom apps, workflows, and integrations on low-code platforms. You designed the data models, wrote the logic, and built the UI yourself.
  • Generative thinking. You don't wait for a brief; you walk in with your own use case in hand.
  • Industry range. You can reason credibly through how a platform capability lands in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, or anywhere else, and tailor a demo accordingly.
  • Executive-altitude storytelling. You make CIOs, CFOs, and CEOs see the same thing in the same demo, in their own language. And AI fluency: you've built with LLMs in some form; you know what AI changes about a workflow and what it doesn't.
  • Curiosity at platform speed and a team-selling instinct. Rippling Platform ships new capabilities weekly; you stay ahead of them. And you like making AEs, marketing, and Product counterparts look great.
