This role is primarily focused on the overall project/development process cycle, including entitlements,design coordination, permitting, budgeting, preparing projects for construction, and completing through construction closeout. The Supervisor collaborates with franchisees, internal partners, architects, and consultants to guide projects through pre-construction and contractor bidding. While the role maintains oversight of construction progress, day-to-day construction activities are typically managed by an external construction manager or general contractor. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with McDonald’s development standards.<br><br>This role will support the Denver and metro area.</p> Duties <p> </p> <p>Manage the pre-construction phase of new restaurant development including entitlements, design coordination, permitting, and budgeting.<br>Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to prepare construction documents and project approvals.<br>Lead the contractor bidding process and award projects to qualified general contractors.<br>Partner with franchisees and cross-functional teams including real estate, design, equipment, and operations.<br>Monitor project schedules, budgets, and development milestones.<br>Provide construction oversight and milestone tracking while collaborating with external construction managers who lead day-to-day site activities.<br>Conduct periodic site visits to ensure adherence to plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.<br>Track project financials and provide regular status updates to leadership.</p> Qualifications <p>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field preferred.<br>5+ years of experience in construction, development, or project management, preferably in retail, restaurant, or multi-site development.<br>Experience with entitlements, permitting, and pre-construction planning.<br>Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.<br>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a geographic market.<br>Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.</p> Compensation <p>Benefits eligible: This position offers health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) plan, adoption assistance program, educational assistance program, flexible ways of working, and time off policies (including sick leave, parentalleave, and vacation/PTO).
