The Senior GIS Analyst should have an excellent command of all GIS concepts including analytics, data, visualizations (static and interactive), automation concepts and evaluation and solutioning. They should not only be independently motivated and capable in completing their day-to-days but should begin to show leadership traits in leading short-term projects and through mentoring and support of junior team members. The Senior GIS Analyst should have some proven skills in scripting and or coding automated processes for completing day-to-day tasks.
