This Sr. Director role leads the advice experiences for TIAA's In-Plan Managed Accounts & Value Added Services. This leader serves as the primary digital business owner for TIAA’s Retirement Plan Portfolio Manager (RPPM) — a managed account solution that performs quarterly portfolio reforecast and rebalancing for plan participants at a small fee. This professional also supports TIAA’s Advisor Managed Accounts (AMA) and supports other products in the IRA suite with regards to advice. Sitting within the Accumulations and Saving Advice Product Management team, this leader partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive digital adoption, shape the customer experience, manage performance, and definition of the Financial Consultant associate desktop experience. You will lead a small, high-impact team of two and will be expected to engage at both the tactical product level and with executive audiences. Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead the full product management lifecycle for in-plan managed account digital solutions, including business case development, product definition, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management Drive digital advice adoption and monitor KPIs to measure experience effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities Manage and develop a two-person team, maintaining strong product acumen including the ability to write or review product features Collaborate across Technology, Design, Analytics, TRAC, investment product, and cross-functional partners to align roadmaps and investments Present strategy, performance, and roadmap priorities to senior and executive stakeholders Champion Voice of Customer activities and feature roadmap development to deliver measurable outcomes for participants, plan sponsors, and the business Contribute to shaping the advice experience for other products in the IRA suite, alongside team members carrying direct responsibilities in that space Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 8+ Years Required; 10+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 10PL Required Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of financial services experience Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of financial services experience 3+ years of digital product management or financial product management Experience managing individuals or a small team Familiarity with TIAA's product suite preferred Ability to write product features or manage a team that does Strong cross-functional collaboration skills Confident communicator with experience presenting to executive audiences Related Skills Analytical Skills, Collaboration, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Customer Engagement, Data-Based Decision Making, Group Problem Solving, Influence, Innovation, Product Design, Product Management, Product Performance/Improvement Monitoring, Relationship Management, Story Telling Anticipated Posting End Date: 2026-07-31 Base Pay Range: $182,000/yr - $230,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
