You’ll join a foundational Platform Engineering team focused on building and operating the tools that power development across the organization—from source control to continuous deployment. As the platform scales, you’ll drive improvements to engineering velocity, streamline deployment workflows, and strengthen the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure. You’ll take on complex infrastructure challenges, lead high-impact migrations, and expand automation across a rapidly growing engineering ecosystem.</p><p></p><h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul><li><p><span>Own and evolve our source control platform (Bitbucket and GitHub), including leading our migration to a modern GitHub-based SCM supporting GitOps workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design, build, and continuously improve deployment pipelines and GitOps tooling using technologies like FluxCD, ArgoCD, and Jenkins.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure across a large-scale, multi-cluster environment, leveraging Helm Charts to streamline deployments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and maintain automation and operational tooling, primarily using Python, to improve system efficiency and reliability.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to provision and manage cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with product managers and engineers to plan features, break down complex initiatives, and deliver solutions aligned with business and technical priorities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Review code and provide technical guidance to elevate engineering standards and support team growth.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity through thoughtful architecture, tooling, and automation.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h2>What you’ll bring</h2><ul><li><p><span>A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with hands-on expertise in infrastructure tooling.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience working with Kubernetes and containerization technologies, including managing and scaling production deployments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in GitOps practices and tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, with hands-on experience using Terraform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform, including secrets management solutions like AWS Secrets Manager.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with source control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket, along with exposure to observability tools like Datadog; experience with database migration tooling such as Flyway or Grate, or dependency management automation tools like Renovate, is considered an advantage.</span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-OK1</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span>Join Our Team</span></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
