<h2>Overview</h2> <p>We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in strengthening the organization's analytics foundation through business intelligence and data analytics delivery, supported by data discovery and centralization.</p> <p>This role is accountable for producing high-quality, scalable analytics and dashboards that support decision-making, while also improving clarity and consistency across distributed data systems.</p> <p> </p> <p>The individual in this role serves as a trusted owner of analytical integrity, responsible for defining and maintaining metric logic, validating data availability and definitions, and ensuring analytics are built on clearly understood and well-documented data sources.</p> <p> </p> <p>Success requires technical depth, analytical rigor, and the ability to balance day-to-day analytics delivery with ongoing data discovery in a decentralized data environment.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <h4><strong>Business Intelligence and Data Analytics</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and analytical solutions that support operational, strategic, and ad hoc analytical needs.</li> <li>Own metrics and KPIs end-to-end, including definition, calculation logic, validation, and ongoing consistency.</li> <li>Translate business questions into analytical approaches, dashboards, reports, and supporting data structures.</li> <li>Ensure analytics are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with agreed-upon metric definitions.</li> <li>Provide ongoing analytical support to stakeholders, including investigations, deep dives, and clarification of results.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Data Discovery, Centralization and Documentation</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead data discovery efforts to determine whether required data exists, how it is defined, and where it resides.</li> <li>Identify equivalent or related data elements across systems and document authoritative sources.</li> <li>Support data centralization and consolidation by identifying overlaps, gaps, and inconsistencies across datasets.</li> <li>Create and maintain documentation that supports repeatable analytics, metric consistency, and long-term scalability.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Data Quality and Accuracy</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Validate data used in dashboards and analyses to ensure accuracy and reliability.</li> <li>Identify data limitations, definition gaps, or quality issues and clearly communicate their impact.</li> <li>Promote consistent interpretation and responsible use of metrics across teams.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Cross-Functional Partnership</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Create BI dashboards and analytical outputs in close partnership with business, product, and technical teams.</li> <li>Serve as a day-to-day analytics partner supporting decision-making through data and insights.</li> <li>Communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and limitations clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.</li> <li>Operate effectively in environments with evolving documentation and distributed data ownership.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.</li> </ul> <p><strong>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</strong><strong> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced SQL skills with experience querying complex, multi-schema, multi-source data environments.</li> <li>Strong experience delivering BI dashboards, recurring analytics, and ad hoc analysis for business stakeholders.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience operating in decentralized or federated data environments.</li> <li>Experience contributing to data inventories, cataloging efforts, or metric standardization initiatives.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with modern BI and visualization tools (for example, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with data modeling, analytics engineering, or data science practices.</li> <li>Exposure to statistical analysis or advanced analytical techniques.</li> <li>Familiarity with formal data governance or data quality frameworks.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-AS2</p> <p>#LI-REMOTE</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</u></strong></p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
