Labels and organizes output and back-up tapes.</li> <li>Observes computer and peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor to detect faulty output or machine stoppage. Implements standard procedures for routine errors. Escalates issues and errors as necessary.</li> <li>Researches warning and error messages and takes appropriate action to ensure job production completion.</li> <li>Maintains audit trail of job activities and statuses to document productivity.</li> <li>Monitors levels of operations supplies and procures equipment and supplies as necessary. Reports supply levels to supervisor for resolution.</li> <li>Performs scheduled such as daily, weekly, or nightly backups on systems in order to maintain production.
