They will collaborate with multiple departments across the organization. All while supporting the Director of Finance with month-end deliverables. Will have a major impact on financial reporting and treasury functions. </p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>What you'll do:</b><div> <ul> <li>Full cycle bookkeeping duties</li> <li>Monthly journal entries for payroll, bank, corporate credit card and accruals</li> <li>Ensure accurate financial reporting and allocations to the correct departments and product lines</li> <li>Work closely with creator operations team to ensure the payments for creator payouts is reconciled</li> <li>Managing our corporate credit card platform and ensuring that all transactions are reflected in our reporting system</li> <li>Manage our AP payments to vendors and vendor management </li> <li>Manage all customer billing</li> <li>Process cheques and wire payments </li> <li>Work closely with other functional business leaders to develop monthly reporting dashboards and ad-hoc financial analysis</li> <li>Documentation and monitoring of internal controls</li> <li>In collaboration with the manger, identify opportunities for process Improvements</li> <li>Identify accounting issues and provide recommendations for resolution</li> <li>Preparation of year-end packages for audit firm, i.e. preparing the year-end trial balance, adjusting entries and reconciling accounts</li> <li>Preparation of all reconciliations including bank, credit card, accounts payable and payroll </li> <li>Monthly tax filings (HST)</li> <li>Contribute to ad-hoc projects, as assigned by the Manager or the Director</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Ideally you'll have:</b><div> <ul> <li>3 - 5 years of proven experience in finance or accounting roles</li> <li>Certified accounting designation (ie.
