<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><h1><br><span><span><span><u><b>Summary</b></u></span></span></span><br> </h1></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>Responsible for the successful marketing (sales, renewals, and/or service) of group and/or individual accounts for products as defined by production quotas within assigned territory. Customarily and regularly engaged in outside sales.<br><br>This position is focused on the local Chamber of Commerce developing and maintaining relationships with local chamber, selling small group and product to memberships. <br><br>Three years of outside sales experience is preferred along with two years selling ACA Medicare, Small Group health insurance. This is a remote position, within South Carolina. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do: </b></p><ul><li><p>Develops and executes marketing plans for new sales and/or retention of existing accounts within assigned territory. Prepares and presents proposals and communications to groups, agents, and/or individuals.</p></li><li><p>Develops and maintains professional relationships with groups, agents, and/or individuals. Assesses agency, agent, group, and/or individual sales opportunities and works with groups, agent, and/or individuals to resolve problem issues.</p></li><li><p>Conducts on-going market research and provides key information that may lead to sales. Prepares and submits required marketing reports to management detailing how best to position company products.</p></li><li><p>Maintains product/industry knowledge and marketing skills by attending trading seminars, continuing education classes, conferences, etc.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following: </b></p><ul><li><p><b>Required Education: </b>High School Diploma or equivalent</p></li><li><p><b>Required Work Experience:</b> One-year sales and marketing.</p></li><li><p><b>Required Skills and Abilities</b>: Ability to develop/maintain effective relationships with groups, agents, and potential customers. Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and the marketplace. Effective presentation and customer service skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
