Job Summary

Disney is seeking an experienced and passionate Remote Talent Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the HR team, you will oversee the development and growth of our global talent pool, providing strategic direction and actionable plans to ensure employees reach their full potential. This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while still being part of one of the most iconic entertainment companies in the world. Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Development Strategy: Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive talent development strategy that aligns with Disneys global objectives and business priorities.

  • Employee Training & Development: Manage the creation and delivery of training programs focused on employee skills development, leadership growth, and career progression.

  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship opportunities for high-potential employees, focusing on leadership skills, personal development, and career guidance.

  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and department leaders to assess employee performance and ensure proper career development plans are in place to improve overall team productivity and engagement.

  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion and develop initiatives that promote gender equality and foster an inclusive culture within the company.

  • Technology & Learning Tools: Use learning management systems and other digital tools to facilitate remote learning, tracking progress, and evaluating employee development.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Measure the effectiveness of talent development programs through key performance indicators and provide reports to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on development initiatives and talent management across the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Masters degree or certifications in HR or Organizational Development is a plus.

  • Proven Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in talent development, training, or HR management, ideally within a global or remote work environment.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and inspire remote teams.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with digital learning platforms, virtual training tools, and HR software to manage and assess talent development initiatives.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance employee development.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of cultural differences in a global workforce and the ability to adapt training and development strategies accordingly.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a talent development, training, or human resources management role.

  • Proven track record in managing remote teams and delivering training and development programs in a virtual environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing leadership development programs, career progression frameworks, and performance management strategies.

  • Experience working within large, complex organizations with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time remote position with flexible working hours.

  • Availability for occasional meetings across different time zones is required to collaborate with global teams.

  • The role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the expectation of maintaining a high level of productivity and communication.
