Project Role Description

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and early bug detection.
  • Participate in BDD practices using tools like Cucumber or Behave.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman, Newman, or similar tools.
  • Track and report bugs using tools like Jira, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation frameworks.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and QA automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave).
  • Familiarity with security testing and compliance validation.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience testing microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of LLM-based features and how to test AI-driven components.

Summary

As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, creating automation strategies, and supporting data and environment configurations. You will also participate in code reviews, monitor and report defects, and engage in continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process, ensuring that quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure product quality.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Quality Engineering Strategy.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience in performance testing and load testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.

Additional Information

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
