The Behavioral Health Clinical Manager provides psychiatric care to adults and seniors with complex behavioral health, cognitive, and dementia-related needs while leading a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, and Behavioral Health Care Managers.<br><br>As a member of Avail's clinical leadership team, this individual will help shape clinical workflows, establish care standards, support quality initiatives, develop team capabilities, and contribute to the growth and evolution of Avail's behavioral health and dementia care programs.<br><br>The ideal candidate is a clinically active PMHNP who enjoys both patient care and leadership and is energized by developing people, improving care delivery, and building scalable clinical programs that improve outcomes Evaluate and treat adults and seniors with complex behavioral health and dementia-related conditions<br>• Provide medication management, diagnostic clarification, risk assessment, safety planning, and longitudinal psychiatric care<br>• Serve as the GUIDE Practitioner for eligible dementia care patients<br>• Collaborate with caregivers, primary care providers, therapists, senior living staff, and interdisciplinary care teams<br><br>Leadership & Team Management<br>• Lead, mentor, and develop Psychiatric NPs, Therapists, and Behavioral Health Care Managers<br>• Conduct supervision, case review, accredited PMHNP program<br>• Board Certification as a PMHNP<br>• Active, unrestricted California PMHNP license<br>• Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed<br>• Minimum five years of psychiatric practice experience<br>• Experience treating adults and/or seniors with complex behavioral health conditions<br>• Experience providing care through telehealth<br>• Prior people leadership, supervision, or clinical management experience<br>• Experience improving workflows, programs, quality initiatives, or care delivery models<br>• Strong comfort with technology-enabled clinical care<br><br><em>Preferred Qualifications</em><br>• Active Maryland PMHNP license<br>• Experience leading behavioral health programs or multidisciplinary clinical teams<br>• Experience managing therapists, nurses, care managers, or other licensed clinicians<br>• Experience working with older adults, dementia care, senior living, home-based care, or interdisciplinary
