Position Summary:

The Project Manager Security Systems directs and administers oversight of all access control (CCURE, LENEL) CCTV (Avigilon) and Service Now (SNOW) ticket requests, as well as all security related functions that support JetBlue operations. The Project Manager Security Systems will oversee, schedule, lead and mentor analysts and security coordinators. In addition, the Project Manager Security Systems actively leads all assigned projects from start to finish including project team definition, project planning, documentation, vendor oversight, product purchasing, budgeting, tracking, reporting, rollout, take lead for cadence of team alignment calls up to a successful formalized project closure.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Project initiation: Define project high level scope, establish stakeholders, and secure funding and/or internal resources.
  • Project planning: Create requirements specification and project plan. Define project team. Establish resource allocation decisions with managers of each department. Coordinate vendor selection and vendor contract management. Facilitate product purchasing. Establish success criteria.
  • Project execution: Collect technical documentation, deployment plan, support plan. Interface between all affected departments, business partners, and/or vendors.
  • Project control: Manage changes, risks, scope, cost, quality, communications, time, and procurement.
  • Project closure: Collect formal acceptance, evaluate established success criteria to determine success. Close cost accounts and contracts.
  • Oversee a weekly report on all security devices requiring maintenance throughout the network
  • Assigning and managing business partner work orders when break fix request are requested.
  • Produce reports and orally debrief leadership on all requested security issues and related topics
  • Develop working relationships and mentor any team members assigned to projects
  • Establish and maintain working relationship with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies ensuring security compliance
  • Assess, implement, and maintain security requirements for current as well as future stations with a focus on ensuring adequate CCTV and access controls coverage at all locations.
  • Ensure that JetBlue Corporate Security standards and all related business standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with company policies, audits, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Four (4) years of previous security related work in the law enforcement, intelligence, regulatory or private/corporate security sector
  • In possession of a valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and Microsoft 365
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail and organization
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
  • Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance
  • Available for overnight travel (40%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualification:

  • Experience with CCTV, SIDA systems, access control installations, assigning user accounts/groups, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and modifying creation of access level grouping.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Excel, Visio, Avigilon, Indigo.

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System
  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
  • Responsible for ensuring crewmembers have requisite training, resources and support to achieve safety objectives

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
