If you’re excited to build AI that can reason and take action, like humans, in one of the most complex industries in the world — apply below.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">The ideal candidate is a 0-1 visionary who is passionate about using AI in building new product offerings that meaningfully reduce toil and make logistics better.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Seek truth. Go onsite; shadow users; get user feedback; act as a user all in search of the truth. Use that knowledge to build the product vision.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Write detailed product requirements, narratives, and technical specifications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Spearhead the development and implementation of AI-driven agents for the logistics world by working closely with engineering, product design, and data science teams.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Oversee implementations with a few customers and devise implementation plans for scale deployment, including self-onboarding and self-serve help.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work closely with the founders and commercial organization on go-to-market plans and pricing.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Have 6+ years of product management or related industry experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building delightful software products for complex industries with a physical layer like logistics.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to organize, prioritize, build 0-1, and adapt in a rapid-growth startup.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Showcase strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Insatiable curiosity, undying passion, and ownership to take on hard real-world problems.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Bonus Points For</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building AI agentic applications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Open AI, Anthropic, Llama, and other leading LLMs and Cartesia, Eleven Labs voice models.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Master’s further education or experience in engineering or computer science.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prior experience in Logistics, Freight brokerage, Shipping, and Warehouse technologies.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Machine learning, operations research and optimization, developing large software systems, logistics & fulfillment industry, pricing algorithms, shipping technology.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Rich GitHub or hackathon accolades, or other ways you can show that you love to build.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Our Stack</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Independent Service Oriented Architectures with services composed of:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Node, Typescript, MySQL RDS, SQS, SNS.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">React and Redux for UI.</p></li></ul></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">We run on AWS.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><em>Augment is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity at our company.
