<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Application deadline: Jun 12, 2026<br><br>This position requires travel up to 90% of the time across the US and could include the UK and Canada.<br><br>Responsible for operational coordination, communications, issue escalation and on-site support related to pipeline and portfolio project types (new stores, relocations, reflows, etc.). Strongly contributes to the definition, development, and execution of processes and resources related to pipeline and portfolio projects. Provides advice, guidance, and support for various and assigned category specific operational practices and programs. Monitors project execution, identifying patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, working with Area Leaders and Store Support stakeholders to ensure local consideration and complications are discussed and incorporated into project plans. Ensures Store, Area Leadership and other cross-functional partners understand, implement, and adhere to policies and procedures. Communicates and supports in the directing of communications between Area Operations, Store Support and Amazon.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Delivers and supports on-site operational readiness and execution</li><li> Ensures completion of operations activities in department set up</li><li> Understands and applies merchandising guidance to the unique store footprint</li><li> Audits and coaches on operational compliance and identifies root causes for areas of non-compliance and supports in mitigation</li><li> Facilitates timely resolution of pipeline and portfolio operational issues in collaboration with PPE Process Manager</li><li> Communicates and escalates re-occurring business critical errors to PPE Team Leader</li><li> Attends cross-functional coordination calls as required</li><li> Responsible for coaching and supporting Team Leaders (TL) during pipeline and portfolio assigned team specific trainings</li><li> Provides technical coaching for assigned TLs and Team Members (TMs) as needed</li><li> Assists/consults with Executive Leadership Operations (ELO) on sister store and top performer support to ensure the best team member experience</li><li> Consults with ELO on team specific development opportunities</li><li> Actively participates in Learn & Adjust mechanisms following different project type execution to identify and apply enhancement strategies</li><li> Expert in understanding dependencies and working across the aisle to optimize processes</li><li> Develops or coordinates the development of audience (within operations) specific tools and resources</li><li> Participates in the development of teams' vision and tenets</li><li> Co-creates in the design, development, and execution of new processes in support of team's strategic objectives<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Experience in computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li> BA/BS degree and 4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience</li><li> Open to 90% travel across the US and could include the UK and Canada</li><li> Demonstrates strong knowledge of specialty area(s), such as coffee, tea, produce, bakery, etc.</li><li> Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of technical skills associated with assigned specialty area(s)</li><li> Demonstrates strong knowledge of merchandising concepts and practices</li><li> Expert on team specific programs and processes and standards required for operational readiness</li><li> Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations</li><li> Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized fashion</li><li> Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in both one-on-one situations and group meetings</li><li> Listens beyond the spoken words and understands intention, adapting accordingly<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Ability to perform under pressure or in times of uncertainty</li><li> Can work closely and effectively with various stakeholders including Team Members, Team Leaders, and store and area leadership</li><li> Leverages multiple internal teams to further program/project objectives</li><li> May provide informal support to less experienced Team Members</li><li> Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations</li><li> Coaches and supports in the understanding of operational standards</li><li> Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancement to drive efficiency and improve service levels</li><li> Applies business and project understanding to focus project/team efforts<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
