Archer is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People Operations team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all Archer employees and plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding. Including but not limited to, policy execution and implementation, employment law compliance, and maintenance of employee data. The HR Generalist will work on-site five days a week and ensure the consistent delivery of HR services in alignment with company policies, values, and applicable laws.

What you’ll do: 

  • Prepare employee documents and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Manage pre-employment and onboarding processes, including background checks, I-9 verification, and E-Verify compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes in compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Responsible for regularly scheduled orientation and ensuring the new hire journey  is seamless and memorable experience
  • Coordinate employee changes such as promotions, internal transfers, and performance review tracking.
  • Respond to employee inquiries while meeting service-level expectations and demonstrating Archer’s Core Values.
  • Administer core HR programs including compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance management cases.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and update HR policies and practices as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), HR policies, and internal documentation.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Support People Partners and department leaders with HR initiatives and operational needs.
  • Take on additional HR-related responsibilities as required to support team and company objectives.

What you need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices to seamlessly execute various people related tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptable mindset with a willingness to embrace change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills; ability to build effective working relationships across all levels.
  • High attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with HRIS or related HR software systems.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $85,320 - $100,040. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
