Description:

Summary of the project/initiative: Filling customer requests for staff augmentation PACS Admin roles.

Describe the team: Contract Staffing Team - 13

Break-down of the teams skill sets: 4 tech leads 9, enterprise imaging consultants.

Top 5-10 responsibilities:

  • Perform Change Healthcare PACS activities, Workflow Intelligence support for on demand service in application, and functions as mutually agreed upon by both Change Healthcare and the customer site; including but not limited to, system testing and resolution, date reconciliation at facility sites and/or remotely.
  • Identify hardware, network and architecture challenges and provide recommendations to Customer regarding changes to the system structure. Any recommendations will be reviewed and approved by the Customer.
  • Identify and recommend changes in workflow, application configuration, system structure, technical performance and/or policies to support the information system needs of the Customer.
  • Serve as the primary resource for hands-on Change Healthcare PACS suite of applications to aid in clinical and technical activities/issues/requests.
  • Consult with Customer and recommend and maintain standardization of workflows and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to the Customer in the development of best practices that enhance or complement utilization of the PACS and expeditious exam reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert to coordinate integration of Change Healthcare PACS, Workflow Intelligence, support for on demand service in application, and to third party systems. Such third-party systems will be mutually agreed on by Change Healthcare and the Customer.

Ideal candidate background:

  • 5+ years’ experience working with Change Healthcare Radiology and or Cardiology PACS diagnosing and troubleshooting software and workflow issues as a PACS Administrator
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong IT background and experience with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of mission-critical hardware and software systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflow, HL7 and DICOM standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to pay attention to details.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • PACS Administrator Daily/Weekly/Monthly cleanup and admin tasks - 5+ years

Skills/attributes are preferred :

  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional ABII(CIIP)
