You will be responsible for supporting the global O365 messaging service, ensuring its availability, performance, security, and compliance. You will have responsibility to work with our third-party resources, ensuring they meet service level agreements and quality standards. You will support messaging projects, such as tenant migrations, client transitions, and integration work including cross-tenant coexistence. You will provide guidance on messaging design and implementation. And you will act as a point of escalation for support related issues for troubleshooting O365 messaging features and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">integrations.  </span></span></p><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#0f4761">Key <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Responsibilities </span></span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Support administration and management of the O365 messaging infrastructure, including both Exchange Online and on-premises environments, to ensure availability and performance. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Provide technical expertise and guidance in O365 messaging, primarily focused on Exchange. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Responsible for Proofpoint and Defender configuration and internal alignment on best practice operations. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Assist with regular management reporting and provide telemetry to track service health and progress against operational goals. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Work with third-party providers to ensure O365 messaging services are delivered in alignment with service level agreements and quality expectations. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Support cost optimization efforts and help manage the O365 messaging budget in line with organizational targets. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Ensure the messaging infrastructure is maintained according to business requirements, industry standards, and best practices. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Follow and enforce O365 messaging policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated O365 messaging incidents, problems, changes, and requests, acting as an escalation point for support issues. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders for O365 messaging-related issues. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Participate in O365 messaging projects and initiatives, such as tenant migrations, integrations, and service improvements, from planning through to execution. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Creates, tests and manages scripts as needed for management and administration </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Performs other duties as <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">assigned/required </span></span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Attend Project and management meetings, communicating with technical and non-technical staff at all levels. </span></li></ul><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#0f4761">Qualifications and Requirements </span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">At least 7 years of experience in O365 messaging engineering and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">administration. </span></span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong knowledge of Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) administration and hybrid Exchange deployments including Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019) architecture, installation, and upgrades </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong knowledge of mail flow design, connectors, transport rules, and routing  </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000"><b>Expert knowledge of </b>Microsoft Defender for Office 365 , Microsoft Purview Suite and Proofpoint including Mail Protection, TAP, EFD, threat analysis, eDiscovery, retention, DLP & Legal hold processes </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong knowledge and skills in O365 Email security (anti-spam, anti-malware, phishing protection), role-based access control (RBAC), TLS, certificates </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong knowledge of email transport security including DMARC, DKIM, SPF and how these can effect mail delivery </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience with cross‑tenant migrations and coexistence strategies including integration with third‑party email security, archiving & Migration tools (e.g MigrationWiz, AvePoint Fly, Quest QMM) </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience with Intune - Mobile Device Management, including understanding of ABM, Google Enterprise, Compliance , Configuration and App protection policies </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive dependencies on Exchange </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Knowledge of capacity planning, performance tuning and patch management </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience with monitoring tools and alerting (Microsoft and third‑party) </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong Scripting skills i.e PowerShell (Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure AD modules) </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Strong analytical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills using logs, message traces, and PowerShell diagnostics </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Preference will be given to candidates who have one or more of the following Microsoft certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word;
