<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Title:</b></p>Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter III<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Location:</b></p>Missouri - Remote<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you'll do:</b></p>A Non-Delegated Mortgage Underwriter III is responsible for underwriting conventional loans by reviewing the credit, capacity, and collateral characteristics of loan files to ensure it meets company and investor quality standards.<ul><li>Manage individual pipeline on a daily basis by completing Conventional loans, simple and complex Underwriting Reviews, Conditions Reviews and other Underwriting Tasks within established turn times</li><li>Identify any document deficiencies, request additional information and/or documentation from Clients as needed</li><li>Expert ability to navigate and interpret all agency and company guidelines</li><li>Assist other department personnel in interpreting underwriting guidelines, update loan status and complete all necessary tasks assigned to loan. </li><li>Contact clients to provide updates and clarification on outstanding conditions and deficiencies identified on loans</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you'll need: </b></p><ul><li>5+ years mortgage industry experience, with <span>3 years recent </span><span>frontline underwriting experience preferred in a wholesale or retail lending environment.</span></li><li>Ability to <span>communicate effectively and professionally</span></li><li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)</li><li>Encompass LOS experience preferred</li><li>Project management experience</li><li>College degree preferred but not required</li><li>Loan quality and risk management a must</li><li><span>Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines </span></li><li>Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Product Advisor</li><li>Excellent Customer/Client service skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced production environment</li><li>Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time constraints</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li><span>Prioritization and Time Management skills</span></li><li>Ability to learn and adapt to guideline changes</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Benefits you’ll love:</b></p><p style="text-align:left">We offer all the important things you'd want — like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
