<h2><b>Job Summary:</b> As our Network Engineer IV, you’ll be responsible for the engineering, design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of the networking environment. Provides technical support to various departments and users with regards to the networking environment. Serve as a liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.</h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Work Location:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>If located near a Rackspace office, you’ll work a hybrid schedule… 2 days in the office and three days remote.</h2></li><li><h2>If not located near an office, you may work 100% remotely.</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Perform complex engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance tasks on the network.</h2></li><li><h2>Continually perform assessments and upgrades of network.</h2></li><li><h2>Collect and analyze data network statistics.</h2></li><li><h2>Research and propose hardware and software solutions.</h2></li><li><h2>Troubleshoot and solve complex network problems.</h2></li><li><h2>Assist the team in managing the customer tickets queue.</h2></li><li><h2>Perform implementation planning prior to the actual installation of hardware such as routers, firewalls, wireless, and switches.</h2></li><li><h2>Remain informed of new developments and trends</h2></li><li><h2>Make recommendations to management on desirable additions and developments.</h2></li><li><h2>Assist the team in daily operations and requests.</h2></li><li><h2>Participates in on-call support per team design.</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>CCNA Preffered.</h2></li><li><h2>Prefer bachelor’s degree; Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.</h2></li><li><h2>7 years of networking engineering experience in a command-line oriented environment.</h2></li><li><h2>At least two years’ experience in a network deployment role with knowledge of design concepts.</h2></li><li><h2>Advanced knowledge of IT Risk Management, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Information Security, Data Privacy, Vendor Management, and/or Business Continuity Management.</h2></li><li><h2>Strong background within a global organization, professional services/consulting firm, a related industry.</h2></li><li><h2>Solid fundamental knowledge of network security, data center operations, build pipeline, and cloud infrastructure security.</h2></li><li><h2>Ability to develop and analyze reports from multiple sources including Cisco, Sophos, Critical Watch, Expose Rapid 7, SAINT.</h2></li><li><h2>Familiarity with vulnerability scanners and robot process automation.</h2></li><li><h2>Deep understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and migration challenges. </h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">#LI-MF1 #LI-remote</span></span></h2><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;"> Our</span> compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The compensation range for this position ranges from $108,253.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to 158,733.30 USD/year in our highest geographic market.
