<b>Multi‑Skilled Engineer</b><p>£37,849 - £41,886 + company pension, quarterly bonus and employee benefits</p><p>Hereford</p><b>Role Overview</b><p>We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join an employer of choice in Hereford. The company in question is one of Hereford's largest employers and can offer a genuine, long term career with excellent progression prospects.</p><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Provide engineering support within the team and the wider business, ensuring planned maintenance and equipment failure issues are completed consistently and in a timely manner.</li><li>Carry out fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and provide rapid response to breakdown situations within the Maintained Areas.</li><li>Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks according to the plant schedule.</li><li>Undertake Engineering Planned Maintenance activities within the Department.</li><li>Ensure adherence to the CMMS requirements is mandatory so the company has a record of breakdown occurrence / time for the justification of improvement projects.</li><li>Ensure an effective face to face shift handover where there is a follow on shift.</li><li>Ensure that safe working conditions are always maintained in conjunction with company 6's and Risk Assessment policies both in associated Areas and Responsible plant equipment.</li><li>Adopt and pursue a working style that will continually improve and enhance work practices within allocated area.</li><li>Assist with the improvement methods of reducing plant downtime and increasing plant efficiencies within the areas of responsibility, using modern improvement techniques/updates.</li><li>Ensure that all engineering plant areas are correctly serviced, maintained and calibrated.</li></ul><b>Benefits</b><p>This is a permanent, shift based role for a leading manufacturer.
