Our team is dedicated to improving lives and safeguarding the environment through our products and services.<br><br></p></div></div><div style="padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="overflow-wrap: break-word;"><h2 style="margin: 0px;">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: </h2> </div><div><p>What will you do?<br>The HR Manager of Acquisitions and Divestments will play a pivotal role in managing all human resources aspects of global acquisitions and divestitures, beginning in the due diligence phase and continuing through close and post-close integration. In this role, you will coach and advise the Strategy & Corporate Development team, cross‑functional diligence teams, business leaders, and legal partners on HR‑related considerations to ensure seamless transactions. You will conduct strategic HR analyses and provide valuation inputs based on identified issues and risks, lead project management efforts to plan for and resolve HR challenges related to acquisitions and integrations, and review purchase and sale agreements to ensure HR risks are appropriately addressed and all conditions are met for successful transaction closure. You will also support related initiatives such as joint ventures and legal entity simplification. Typical responsibilities include launching early HR integration planning activities—such as Day 1 readiness, workforce transition strategies, HR systems and benefits alignment, and employee communications—while diligence is underway, performing comprehensive HR due diligence, preparing and reviewing data room materials, and facilitating the smooth integration of acquired employees into the company’s HR systems and benefits programs.<br>What will make you successful?<br>To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, including the ability to effectively utilize Eaton data to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes. Your project management expertise will be crucial in planning, executing, and overseeing projects efficiently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Working in a global and cross-functional team environment requires excellent collaboration skills to ensure seamless communication and cooperation across different teams and regions. Additionally, your ability to influence, communicate, and coach at an executive level will be essential in driving strategic initiatives and gaining buy-in from senior leaders. Experience in presenting, influencing, and collaborating with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) will help you align HR strategies with business goals. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity will be vital in addressing complex challenges and adapting to changing circumstances. Finally, being open to up to 25% travel will be necessary to meet the demands of the role, including attending meetings, collaborating with global teams, and supporting various projects.
