Difference</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate Post Release Services (PRS) and comprehensive case management services</li> <li>Maintain a caseload in compliance with contract terms and agency expectations as defined by the program supervisor</li> <li>Effectively maintain case capacity and monitor caseload trends</li> <li>Conduct home visits in accordance with contract requirements, when needed</li> <li>Conduct reunification processes by performing home study assessments, as needed</li> <li>Provide resource referrals, community connections, and case management services using a trauma-informed care approach</li> <li>Conduct assessments tailored to client needs in collaboration with the program supervisor</li> <li>Assess potential placements for unaccompanied children, including interviews, family outreach in home countries, and home study investigations</li> <li>Complete and document all required reports, case notes, and contacts in the appropriate database within required timeframes</li> <li>Provide psychoeducational information, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to children and families</li> <li>Provide family stabilization counseling and assist eligible unaccompanied children in accessing TVAP services</li> <li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners and resources</li> <li>Refer and connect families to available resources on an ongoing basis</li> <li>Assess safety and appropriateness of placements using child welfare principles and best practices</li> <li>Serve clients throughout the assigned state as needed</li> <li>Participate in mandatory and ongoing trainings to meet federal, state, and agency requirements</li> <li>Attend weekly supervision meetings to review case plans and client progress</li> <li>Participate in peer consultation and case collaboration opportunities</li> <li>Maintain awareness of community resources and make appropriate referrals</li> <li>Stay current on all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services</li> <li>Essential job responsibilities may vary based on program or department needs</li> <li>May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany-sponsored event</li> <li>Complete other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Will Make You Successful</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college with at least two (2) years of case management experience in child and family services, or at least three (3) years of case management experience in child and family services, family preservation, kinship care, or refugee and immigration fields in lieu of education</li> <li>Bilingual English and Spanish</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to serve diverse client populations, including refugees and other minority families</li> <li>Mature judgment and cultural sensitivity to the unique history and needs of refugees</li> <li>Knowledge of state, community, and agency resources for victims of abuse</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality</li> <li>Adheres to all agency and departmental safety procedures, including reporting unsafe practices, equipment, or environments and taking appropriate corrective action</li> <li>Successfully pass an annual TB test and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization</li> <li>Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany</li> <li>Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage</li> <li>Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries</li> <li> Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of
